A free health camp was organized on 06.04.2025 (9.00 AM onwards) at Dhanipur, Tarikund, Jagatsinghpur with the objective of providing basic healthcare services and raising awareness about health, hygiene, Disability & Rehabilitation among the local community. The camp supported by a team of dedicated Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacist, Rehabilitation professional, other staffs and volunteers.

Participation: The camp witnessed a turnout of over 30-40 people from nearby areas. The beneficiaries included children, elderly citizens, and daily wage workers who often have limited access to HealthCare services.
Outcome:
Conclusion: The free camp was a significant success in reaching out to the underserved sections of society. It helped raise awareness and provided essential medical services to the in need. The organizing team plans to conduct similar camps on a regular basis to ensure continued support to the community.
On December 24, 2024, The Hope Rehabilitation and Therapeutic Centre celebrated a festive and heartwarming Christmas Eve with the children and staff. The event brought together all the staff members, including the Secretary, Project Coordinator, Physiotherapists, Special Educators, and other team members, along with the special children who attend therapy and special education at the centre.
The program commenced with a welcome speech by Mrs Suchita jena Principal Ashraya the shelter, who highlighted the significance of observing wheelchair day, and emphasized the importance of creating a society that is accessible to everyone. This was followed by a motivational talk from a great speaker who shared their inspiring journey of living with a disability and how the use of wheelchair has empowered them.
Several engaging activities were organized, including a wheelchair rally, awareness skits, and interactive sessions of faculty members are actively participated in the event, showing their support through performances, posters, and slogans that promoted inclusiveness. A special segment of the program involved honoring wheelchair users who have made significant contributions to society, recognizing their determination and achievements.
Overall the Wheelchair Day celebration was a meaningful and impactful event that not only educated attendees but also fostered a deeper sense of empathy and community spirit.
The program was held under the chairmanship of Sri Manoj kumar Rath DSSO, Cuttack, along with the National Trust Board member Dr Ashish Kumar Cuttack and Sri Madhav kumar Mishra Project coordinator Hope Therapeutic & Rehabilitation centre cuttack . The wheelchair day presentation was presented by one of the faculty member Ms. Trishna sahoo Physiotherapist and other faculty member & Project coordinator Sri Madhav kumar Mishra of The hope Therapeutic & Rehabilitation centre, Cuttack and the Question and Answer session was discussed and elaborated about the Wheelchair uses , different types of wheelchair, criteria of prescription, checkout & maintenance of wheelchair, from where you found, ADIP scheme, National trust Niramaya scheme etc. by the project coordinator of The Hope Therapeutic & Rehabilitation Centre and the National Trust Board member cuttack.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks of chairperson, delegate, PwDs & parents and a pledge to continue advocating for an inclusive environment where everyone has equal opportunities, mobility, and respect.
